Mr. Barrister James
Barrister James Al Taib Jazz Berapai held pivotal roles within the South Sudan Bar Association, including Secretary General and later President, influencing the growth of legal standards nationwide. He also served as Chairman of the South Sudan Bar Council from 2016 to 2024, while acting as a legal advisor to international companies like Ezentus FZE, Canadian Emirates, and the Bisohop Conference of Sudan/South Sudan. His leadership established a culture of mentorship within the firm, training countless advocates, legal consultants, and commissioners for oaths. Many of these protégés continue to serve South Sudan with distinction, ensuring that the next generation of legal minds upholds the same high standards.
In honor of his late parents, Barrister James Al Taib rebranded the firm to Sirikundu Na Mihimitire Global Legal Services, where Sirikundu represents his father and Mihimitire his mother. This name reflects family legacy, resilience, and cultural heritage, specifically the proud traditions of the Abangombi and Mbeki clans of the Azande people.
Today, the firm operates under the leadership of Basa James El Taib, a First-Class graduate from India and the elder son of the founder. Basa James continues the mission of combining ethical practice, professional excellence, and globally informed legal solutions.
Our approach is guided by our core principle: “Your Rights, Our Commitment.” Every case is treated with meticulous attention, strategic planning, and a commitment to achieving justice for our clients.
Sirikundu Na Mihimitire Global Legal Services is more than a law firm; it is a legacy of justice, resilience, and professionalism. We continue to serve individuals, businesses, and government institutions with integrity, building on over 30 years of legal expertise to shape a fairer and more accountable South Sudan.
